Known as the ‘golden fibre’ jute is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable and thus environmentally friendly.
The rug is hand woven out of jute that has been dyed using special process to give yarn a unique, multi-coloured effect. Multiple colours are applied along the length of each strand of yarn which may or may not repeat after a fixed interval. During the weaving process to form a rug, intricate and unique patterns are emerging giving the rug an unpredictable yet aesthetically pleasing colouring.

Vacuum a jute rug regularly to prevent dirt accumulating in the jute fibres. Use a white cloth to immediately clean spills by blotting it gently. Avoid rubbing the spill. Club soda may be used to neutralise acidic spills such as red wine or tomato sauce. Don't steam clean, wet shampoo or any other method that involves water saturation on a natural fibre rug.
Do not drag furniture over the rug as it may pull on the loop and damage the rug.
